Article 21

Adopted children have the right to have their needs considered first when determining a home.

We should be placed in an environment in which we can fulfill our full potential.  Care must be taken to ensure the family is qualified to support our needs on an ongoing basis.  We have the right to grow up with a loving family regardless of what the family makeup is.  We should also have access to our birth records so we can meet our birth families if we choose.   

I know I am in the best possible family for me.

I am an adopted child.
